Welcome to my blog, dedicated to unraveling the mysteries of biochemistry - a scientific discipline combining biology and chemistry to study biological processes at the cellular and molecular level. This involves the structure, function and regulation of the four biological macromolecules: proteins, lipids (fats), carbohydrates and nucleic acids (DNA and RNA).

Piecing together the thousands of pathways and interactions that occur within each type of cell is an ongoing endeavour. We can harness this knowledge to improve human health as well as enhance sustainable practises.

Hi, I am Claudiomics. I set this page up as a fun place to learn and discuss Biochemistry. I hold a Masters degree in Biochemistry and loved explaining what is going on inside people's bodies to them! I am passionate about making science accessible to everyone in a fun and engaging manner.
